(More customer reviews)I tried to avoid getting a LCD monitor. I had not seen one with the clarity and resolution of my CRT close to my price range. OK, so I'm a dinosaur but these old eyes are touchy. I finally found one that was priced reasonable enough that I decided to give it a try. I`m glad I did, although I still use my CRT on my old box.The resolution, clarity,and color on the X193W Acer is awesome. It is as good or better than the other LCD monitors I looked at costing 50-100 dollars more. I had read a lot about dead pixels and was worried that this would be a problem. Not so. It arrived in perfect condition. The on-off and other switches have a different feel but no biggie. You get used to them. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants quality for a decent price.
