(More customer reviews)I purchased the ET2002 in early October because the machine fit my needs and came with a free Windows 7 upgrade.After receiving the machine, I attempted to register for my Windows 7 upgrade on the Asus Website.During the registration, the serial number for my ET2002 could not be verified by Asus.So, I filled out a supplemental for the verify the serial number.After a week, no response from Asus. I then called their Windows 7 support number....no answer.I finally spoke to an Asus support person, and they said someone would call me back later that day...nope, didn't happen.When I finally spoke to an Asus "Eee-family" support person, they said I would get resolution within 24-48 hours...nope, wrong again.
It has been 3 weeks since purchasing the ET2002 and Asus still has not verified my PC's serial number.I have just received an RMA from Amazon.com and the PC is being returned for a full refund.Sorry, Asus...you're not ready.
